It’s Wedding Wednesday again. Today I’m going to talk about Penelope, our quirky & nerdy celebrant!
Celebrations by Penelope is the best celebrant around. I’m not even exaggerating. I’ve seen many a celebrant and no one is as good as Penelope – I am completely not biased at all.
Penelope has a flair for what she does and she does it extremely well. When we first approached her (via email of course) she was completely eager to share everything her service entailed. Once we’d paid our deposit we were able to build our ceremony with documents full of poems and examples she had at the ready. It was completely customized and she gave feedback on how to lengthen it and where to put in nerdy references. She even supplied a quill pen for the signing!
Of course I thought she should be apart of the theme and she was more than willing to do so! After all she also loves Doctor Who! It was so lovely seeing someone equally excited as us when we asked her to wear the 4th Doctors scarf.
Penelope made everything as simple as she could and took off the edge that comes with wedding planning. It was really fun to create the ceremony with her and many of my family members told us afterwards how amazing she was during the ceremony. She also helped to keep Zac calm which is a bonus!
Thank you so much Penelope, we could not have gotten married without you (quite literally!).
